Why We Collect Data at All

Running a live matching service means some information has to be processed — to connect two people, keep a video or voice channel stable, keep the platform safe, and handle payments for coins or VIP. We aim to collect only what those jobs need. Starting a match does not require you to give a name, and much of the initial experience is anonymous by design.

What We Collect

  • Technical connection data — IP address, approximate region, and browser or device type, used to route a live session.
  • Session activity — the chat mode you pick, how long a match lasts, and Next, block, or report actions.
  • Optional account details — a display name and sign-in identifier, only if you register.
  • Payment records — limited transaction data when you buy coins or VIP, handled by payment providers.
  • Safety and report data — what you send in a report and limited related material for review.
  • Cookies — small browser identifiers that keep a session working and measure usage.

What We Use It For

In short: to run the matching, video, voice, and text features; to keep the service safe and act on reports; to process purchases; to understand which features people use; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to running OhmegleGirl.

“No Sign-Up” Does Not Mean “No Data”

You can start video chat without signing up, but technical, safety, and payment data may still be processed. And because any content on a device may be captured by device-level tools, avoid showing sensitive details on camera.
